General Instructions

1. On submission of the application, the same will be forwarded to the concerned District Magistrate or the Police Commissionerate.
2. The application receiving authority asks the applicant to provide additional information,if required, through the portal.
3. The District Magistrate’s/Police Commissionerate’s office sends for an enquiry from authorities such as the Fire authorities, Police authorities, Electrical authorities,Tahsildar, municipal corporation etc., who conducts inspections/physical verifications of the site as per the requirements and the same is communicated to the applicant.
4. On receipt of construction permission, the applicant starts construction. After the construction is finished, again a joint inspection is done by the authorities to check the fitness of the construction as per rules and regulations.
5. On receipt of the compliance report from the concerned authorities, the District Magistrate/Commissioner of Police provides their remarks and issues/rejects the license.
6. If approved, the applicant can download the license from the portal.
