License for sale of crackers (Temporary)

General Instructions

  1. On submission of the application, the same will be forwarded to the concerned District Magistrate or the Police Commissionerate.
  2. The application receiving authority asks the applicant to provide additional information, if required.
  3. The District Magistrate’s/Police Commissionerate’s office sends for an enquiry from concerned authorities such as the Fire authorities, Police authorities, Electrical authorities, Tahsildar etc., who conducts inspections/physical verifications of the site as per requirements.
  4. On receipt of the reports from the concerned authorities, the District Magistrate/Commissioner of Police provides their remarks and issues/rejects the license.

Checklist

  1. Proof of Address.
  2. Photo Identity proof (Pan card or Aadhar Number or Driving Licence or Passport No. or any Govt issued identity proof).
  3. Legal title document of land/shop/premise (Title Deed or Patta or Leased deed).
  4. Site Map (A4 size) or Building Plan Approval by competent authority.
